The valley can get quite busy on a nice day, and as the cache is quite near a footpath feel free to relocate it if neccessary and let us know. Obviously Christmas and New Year came and went, which included a bit of house sitting which was really enjoyable, giving an opportunity to catch up with Ascot based friends. Now trying to WebbBear left, downhill, on a grassy track (Simonsbath via Cow Castle). Follow this track as it bears right through the valley, through some gates. Keep ahead, on the right-hand side of the river. Go through the gate ahead (which you came through earlier) and retrace your tracks back alongside the river to Simonsbath.
