I'm comparing AKG K702 and Superlux HD-668B with your EQ presets as described in the PDF files. The K702's bass seems lower in volume to me than what I hear on Superluxes. WebIf you look down that column, you'll find the gain values, the quality and, the filter type. For the sub bass shelf you would add a gain of 4 dB at a Q factor of 0.71 and then change the peaking filter to a low shelf filter and that's it. You can also follow oratory1990's EQ and add that -1.1 dB peaking filter. The sub bass is now fixed.

Guitar with passive electrodynamic pickups into an input with insufficiently high load impedance will effectively form a high-pass filter around the electrical resonance frequency of the pickup, commonly around 3 kHz. So you're losing treble. Oluv did a good job saving an otherwise mediocre earphone. The acoustic design of these results in a relatively uneven response at 4-10 kHz, more so than what you'd expect from a regular IEM. Also not comfortable for me at least, either of these. 440 and 840 are alright, just a little forward for Harman, but their plastic has a lot of problems with cracking.
