Advanced Search NettetSo I am thinking that the 6S 12 blade setup might get me out of my grass runway similar to the T-45 with a similar top speed, which, by the way, was very good. I don't care if I have to be back on deck at 3 minutes. I guess I will be a test pilot. If it doesn't perform, then I will investigate other power setups.

I have owned several of this same glider over the past three years. It is a solid performer, on 3s 1300-2200. I prefer the 3s 1600. Excellent flying characteristics all around.

The LEF’s and airbrakes on the FW version seem more gimmicky to me with the weight more than offsetting the usefulness. Is it necessary to have neutral position of the elevator 2-3 mm down on the initial flight. When I checked out the online manual, on page 14 it says to do that. The instruction manual that came with the plane on page 9 says nothing out that except in Chinese.
