I suffered with debilitating stomach cramps, spasms and unpredictable diarrhea for years before being prescribed. I take 20mg 3 times a day but only during bad flare ups because it makes me sleepy. WebI have similar symptoms from my IBS. Although that it due to my nervous system, which is what is causing my IBS. What helped me was Dicyclomine, 20 mg, 4 times a day. As well as taking 5 fiber pills, 500 mg, with psyllium husk, every day. I wouldn't recommend taking the fiber first until medication the medication starts helping.
